Blog Roll

Okay... I give in.

I've never really been one to believe in blogs, especially with the disasterous political rumors that can come out of them and completely destroy politicians--like what happened with Sarah Palin.  To be fair, nasty rumors came out of right-wing blogs about Obama as well.  However, I also think it is important to stand for something. Someone from my generation and political persuasion (college aged moderate conservatives) needs to become more active and speak up. So here I go...
Unfortunately, many of my peers believe that if they do not support the message of change spouted by Obama and the left, then they are traitors to their generation. Many are misinformed and caught up in trying to fit the role of the radical youth. Traditionally, students and young adults from 18 to 25 are the radical ideologues in a society. It has been my personal experience that conservative--or even moderate--young adults are mocked by their peers. I am always astonished when this occurs. Isn't the great banner of the liberal left acceptance? Aren't they supposed to be the great protectors of freedom? So much for that.
I don't think I will ever have anything particularly profound to say; I would just like to present thoughts from a relatively quiet minority of the population for your consideration and to let you know that we do exsist, so there is hope that conservativism is not as dead as it looks...
